Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The individual in this role will design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premise infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of systems and networks. Daily responsibilities include monitoring infrastructure health, performing system administration tasks, managing backups and disaster recovery, and troubleshooting issues related to servers, networks, and cloud services. The role also involves collaborating with development and support teams to provision environments, optimize resource usage, and implement infrastructure automation and best practices. The engineer will contribute to documentation, process improvement, and adherence to security and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Strong Infrastructure skills, including experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premise server environments.
System Administration expertise covering operating systems (Linux/Windows), virtualization, backups, and performance tuning.
Networking and Network Security skills, including knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, routing, switching, and security hardening.
Hands-on Troubleshooting abilities for diagnosing and resolving complex infrastructure, system, and network issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) is preferred.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch) and incident management practices.
Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, and communicate technical concepts clearly.
