Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Store Keeper role based in Kolkata. The Store Keeper will be responsible for receiving, unloading, and organizing goods in the storage area, ensuring items are properly packed, labeled, and stored. Daily tasks include maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting inventory control procedures to prevent shortages or excess. The role also involves preparing materials for dispatch, operating material handling equipment as required, and coordinating with procurement, logistics, and other internal teams to support smooth store operations. The Store Keeper is expected to follow safety guidelines, maintain cleanliness and order in the store, and report any discrepancies or damage promptly.
Qualifications
Diploma in Mechanical
salary - Upto 22 k ( experienced 1-2 yrs )
Candidates should possess skills in Inventory Management and Inventory Control to maintain accurate stock records and support efficient store operations.
Candidate should experienced in Tally
Candidates should possess skills in Packing and Unloading to handle goods safely, prepare materials for storage or dispatch, and ensure proper packaging.
Candidates should possess skills in Forklift Operation or other material handling equipment to move and organize goods securely within the store (training or certification is an advantage).
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory or warehouse software are beneficial for record-keeping and reporting.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow safety procedures and company policies are required.
Prior experience in a store, warehouse, or logistics environment is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent educational background is typically expected.
