Role Description The Android Developer Intern will contribute to the development and enhancement of Tamasha.live’s Android application, working closely with the product and engineering teams on-site in Bengaluru. This internship role involves implementing new features, fixing bugs, optimizing performance, and ensuring a smooth, intuitive user experience for live audio and interactive features. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating on app design, writing clean and maintainable code, participating in code reviews, and testing functionalities across different devices and OS versions. The intern will also assist in integrating APIs, improving UI/UX based on user feedback, and documenting technical work to support ongoing development.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Mobile Application Development and experience working with Mobile Applications on Android.
Knowledge of Android Development principles and Android Design guidelines, including responsive layouts and user-centric interfaces.
Understanding of Software Development fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, version control (such as Git), and debugging practices.
Familiarity with Android SDK, Kotlin and/or Java, Android Studio, and RESTful APIs is highly beneficial.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment in Bengaluru, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Interest in live audio, social platforms, or interactive entertainment products, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
