Role Description The Educator (Intellectual Property Rights) will design and deliver clear, engaging remote lessons that help learners understand core concepts of intellectual property, including copyright, trademarks, patents, and related legal and practical issues. Core responsibilities include developing lesson plans and learning materials, facilitating live or recorded sessions, guiding discussions, and providing constructive feedback on learner work. This is a remote role with structured teaching and preparation hours.
Qualifications
Strong teaching and education skills, with experience explaining complex concepts in accessible language.
Proficiency in lesson planning and training, including designing structured learning paths and practical activities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in online environments.
Solid understanding of intellectual property rights (copyright, trademarks, patents, licensing) and their practical applications.
Experience with digital learning tools and remote instruction platforms.
Ability to create inclusive, learner-centered environments that support diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Law, Education, Business, or a related field; advanced study or professional experience in intellectual property is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills, reliability in meeting deadlines, and comfort working independently in a remote setting.
