Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gaya for an Insurance and TPA Coordinator. The role involves managing patient insurance and TPA-related processes, including verification of coverage, pre-authorization requests, and coordination of approvals for treatments and procedures. The Insurance and TPA Coordinator will maintain accurate records, handle billing-related queries, and liaise with insurance companies, TPAs, and internal hospital departments to ensure timely claim submissions and settlements. The role requires regular interaction with patients and families to explain insurance benefits, documentation requirements, and claim status in a clear and supportive manner. The coordinator will also assist in resolving discrepancies, tracking pending claims, and updating management on insurance and TPA operations as needed.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills and experience in Insurance and Insurance Brokerage, with a solid understanding of health insurance policies, TPAs, and claim processes.
Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively interact with patients, families, insurers, TPAs, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Finance-related skills, including basic knowledge of billing, invoicing, and reconciliation of insurance claims.
Relevant experience in hospital or healthcare administration, particularly in insurance and TPA coordination, is highly beneficial.
Ability to maintain accurate documentation, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and use hospital information systems or basic office software efficiently.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
A diploma or degree in healthcare administration, commerce, finance, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with local insurance and TPA practices.
