Role Description The WordPress Intern will support the development and maintenance of WordPress websites, including installing themes and plugins, configuring settings, and assisting with site layout and content updates. Day-to-day tasks may include troubleshooting basic technical issues, optimizing pages for performance and SEO, and testing functionality across browsers and devices. The intern will collaborate with developers and digital marketers to implement design changes and ensure a consistent user experience. This is a full-time remote role, requiring reliable availability, proactive communication, and a willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and basic site configuration.
Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Interest in website design, user experience, and responsive layouts.
Awareness of SEO principles and digital marketing concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when testing and troubleshooting.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and communicate clearly with team members.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a program in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and adapt to new tools and processes.
