Role Description This full-time Physiotherapist role is an on-site position based at Physio-4 physiotherapy clinic in Kerala, India. The Physiotherapist will assess patients’ physical conditions, take detailed histories, and perform clinical examinations to identify functional limitations and treatment needs. Daily responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, providing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, and using appropriate modalities to manage pain and improve mobility. The role also involves educating patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, posture, and lifestyle modifications, while accurately documenting assessments, interventions, and progress notes. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed, maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, and participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement activities.
Qualifications
Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution, with current or eligible professional registration/licensure as required in India.
Demonstrated clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and use of rehabilitation equipment and modalities.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, including clear patient education, empathetic listening, and effective collaboration with colleagues and other healthcare providers.
Good organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in recording clinical findings, treatment sessions, and patient progress.
Commitment to ethical practice, patient safety, infection control standards, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with professional and legal guidelines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy clinical setting, manage time effectively, and adapt to different patient needs and priorities.
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, stay updated with current physiotherapy research and techniques, and contribute to clinic initiatives and service improvement.
Prior experience in outpatient musculoskeletal, sports, neurological, or geriatric physiotherapy is an advantage, though motivated early-career professionals are also encouraged to apply.
