Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Associate role based at Chandra Crockery in Jodhpur. The Associate will support daily store operations, including welcoming customers, answering product questions, and guiding them to suitable crockery and related items. Responsibilities include arranging and replenishing stock on shelves, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store, and assisting with basic inventory checks. The role also involves handling billing, processing payments, issuing receipts, and helping resolve customer concerns in a professional manner. Associates may support visual merchandising, preparation for promotions or sales events, and coordination with the store team to ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
Qualifications
Customer service and communication skills to engage politely with customers, understand their needs, and provide clear product information.
Basic sales and retail operations skills, including handling cash or digital payments, billing, and supporting promotions.
Attention to detail and organizational skills to maintain store cleanliness, arrange displays, and assist in simple inventory tasks.
Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise safely, and follow store safety and hygiene procedures.
Basic numerical skills and comfort using point-of-sale systems or learning new retail software as needed.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Prior retail or customer-facing experience is an advantage but not mandatory; willingness to learn and follow guidance is essential.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; local language proficiency and basic English understanding are beneficial.
