Role Description The WordPress Developer will be responsible for building, customizing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites that support Retrix.in’s digital marketing and branding initiatives. Day-to-day tasks include developing and optimizing front-end layouts and themes, implementing responsive and accessible designs, and integrating back-end functionality such as plugins, APIs, and custom post types. The role involves collaborating closely with designers, content creators, and marketers to align site features with campaign goals and brand guidelines, as well as troubleshooting performance, security, and usability issues. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vrindavan, requiring regular coordination with the local team and participation in project planning and review sessions.
Qualifications
Strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and theme customization for WordPress.
Proficiency in Back-End Web Development for WordPress, including PHP, plugin integration, and database interactions.
Expertise in Responsive Web Design to ensure sites are optimized for multiple devices and screen sizes.
Solid Web Design capabilities, with an eye for user experience, layout, and brand-consistent visual design.
Hands-on Web Development experience with WordPress, including site setup, configuration, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with SEO best practices, website security, caching, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console).
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Previous experience in a digital agency or marketing-focused environment is a plus.
