Role Description The Application Engineer will work on-site in the Pune Division in a full-time capacity. This role involves configuring, implementing, and maintaining software and engineering applications to meet client requirements, as well as providing technical support for application issues. The Application Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer needs, translate them into technical solutions, and conduct testing and validation of applications and systems. Daily activities include troubleshooting problems, preparing technical documentation, supporting installation and commissioning, and contributing to product improvements based on user feedback. The role also requires effective communication with internal stakeholders and customers to ensure timely resolution of issues and successful project delivery.
Qualifications
BE / Diploma in Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics / Electrical.
2 to 5 years on Siemens PLCs and CNC controllers. Hands on experience in Tia Portal, Simatic Manager, WinCC softwares.
Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and customer-facing communication.
Candidates should possess Software Development skills, such as programming, debugging, and integrating applications with existing systems.
Candidates should possess core Electrical Engineering skills relevant to application design, implementation, and system integration.
Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills for understanding equipment, mechanical systems, and related application requirements.
Candidates should possess Testing skills, including test planning, execution, and documenting results for software and hardware applications.
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and specifications.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site.
Prior experience in industrial, manufacturing, or technology environments is beneficial.
