Role Description The Ipqa Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Bharuch district. The Ipqa Officer is responsible for performing in-process quality checks during manufacturing, monitoring production activities to ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documenting observations in compliance with regulatory and company requirements. Daily tasks include line clearance, batch record review, verification of critical process parameters, and immediate reporting and coordination on deviations or non-conformities with the quality assurance and production teams. The role also involves supporting internal audits, maintaining accurate records, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold product quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of in-process quality assurance in pharmaceutical manufacturing, including GMP and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Candidates should possess skills in documentation, record keeping, and batch manufacturing record review to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Candidates should possess abilities in SOP understanding, implementation, and adherence to quality systems and procedures.
Candidates should possess competencies in deviation identification, root cause thinking, and participation in corrective and preventive actions.
Candidates should possess effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with production, QA, QC, and other support functions.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline is preferred, along with prior experience in pharmaceutical Ipqa or quality roles.
Attention to detail, willingness to work in shifts if required, and a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance are beneficial.
