Role Description The Operations Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at Shuddh Swad’s on-site facility in Adra, ensuring efficient production, inventory management, and order fulfillment. This full-time role includes coordinating with production teams to maintain hygiene and quality standards, optimizing workflows, and managing procurement of raw materials and packaging. The Operations Manager will monitor logistics and dispatch processes, maintain accurate records, and support continuous improvement in operational efficiency and cost control. The role also involves collaborating with quality assurance, customer support, and management to ensure timely deliveries, resolve operational issues, and support business growth. The Operations Manager will be expected to implement standard operating procedures, train team members, and uphold safety and compliance requirements.
Qualifications
Strong operations and process management skills, including experience in production planning, workflow optimization, and inventory control.
Ability to manage procurement, vendor relationships, and basic supply chain logistics in a manufacturing or food-related environment.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
Proficiency in using spreadsheets or basic software tools for data tracking, reporting, and performance monitoring.
Effective communication, leadership, and team management skills, with the ability to train and motivate staff.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in operations management, business, food technology, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, or small-scale production operations will be an advantage.
Willingness to work on-site in Adra and adapt to a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment aligned with the company’s mission and values.
