Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Butler role based at Bandra House IHCL SeleQtions in Mumbai. The Butler will provide personalized, high-touch service to guests, including greeting and escorting guests, assisting with check-in and check-out, and handling special requests. Daily responsibilities include coordinating room setup and amenities, arranging dining and in-room services, managing guest itineraries, and ensuring all preferences are noted and followed. The role involves close collaboration with housekeeping, front office, and food & beverage teams to ensure seamless service and timely resolution of guest needs. The Butler is expected to maintain high standards of grooming, etiquette, and confidentiality while consistently anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong guest service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide personalized, discreet service.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills in English (additional local or foreign languages are an advantage) and clear, professional telephone and in-person etiquette.
Candidates should possess solid organizational and time-management skills, including attention to detail, follow-through on requests, and the ability to manage multiple guest needs simultaneously.
Candidates should possess familiarity with hotel operations and basic administrative skills, including use of reservation systems, handling guest documentation, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Candidates should possess a professional appearance, high standards of grooming, and the ability to uphold confidentiality and handle sensitive guest information with care.
Candidates should possess flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and demonstrate reliability, integrity, and a strong service mindset.
Relevant experience in luxury hospitality, guest relations, or butler service is preferred; a diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is an advantage.
