About the Role
We are looking for an experienced SAP Fund Management (PSM-FM) Consultant to join our growing startup team. The candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimizing SAP Public Sector Management – Funds Management (PSM-FM) solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of Funds Management, Budgeting, Funds Center, Commitment Items, Fund, Functional Area, Budget Control System (BCS) and integration with other SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
Configure and support SAP PSM-FM / Funds Management processes.
Handle Funds Centers, Commitment Items, Funds, Functional Areas and Funded Programs.
Configure and manage budgeting, availability control and budget consumption.
Work on BCS (Budget Control System) and budget distribution processes.
Configure Budget Availability Control (AVC) and commitment/actual postings.
Manage integration of PSM-FM with FI, CO, MM, SD and other SAP modules.
Analyze business requirements and convert them into SAP functional solutions.
Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments.
Support SAP enhancements, interfaces, reports, forms and workflows.
Perform configuration, testing, defect resolution and production support.
Participate in SIT, UAT, cutover and go-live activities.
Provide user training and prepare functional documentation.
Troubleshoot issues related to budget, commitments, actuals and fund availability.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in SAP PSM-FM.
Good understanding of SAP FI/CO integration.
Experience with Funds Management master data and budget structures.
Knowledge of BCS and AVC.
Understanding of procurement and accounting processes impacting Funds Management.
Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Sector.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori and modern S/4HANA processes.
Exposure to SAP PSCD, Grants Management or Public Sector processes will be an advantage.
Experience in SAP implementation, migration or transformation projects.
Experience working with government/public-sector or large enterprise environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or a related field.
SAP certification in PSM-FM / S/4HANA is preferred.
