Role Description The Assistant Photographer will support the photography team in planning, shooting, and delivering visual content for social media and related media projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing equipment, assisting with lighting and composition, coordinating with subjects and clients during shoots, and helping with basic image selection and organization. The role may also involve occasional on-set support for video shoots, maintaining media files, and collaborating with the social media team to ensure visual content meets brand and quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North, requiring regular presence at shoots and at the office.
Qualifications
Foundational photography skills, including basic knowledge of camera operations, framing, and composition.
Ability to assist with lighting setup, equipment handling, and on-set logistics during photo and video shoots.
Basic familiarity with photo editing or organizing tools (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar software).
Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a professional and respectful approach to clients and colleagues.
Willingness to learn, adapt to fast-paced media environments, and support multiple projects simultaneously.
Prior internship or entry-level experience in photography, media, or content creation is an advantage.
Relevant coursework or certification in photography, media, or visual arts is beneficial but not mandatory.
