Role Description The Speech Therapist for children is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The Speech Therapist will assess speech, language, and communication needs of children, using standardized tools and observation to develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions, monitoring progress, documenting outcomes, and updating intervention strategies as needed. The Speech Therapist will collaborate closely with educators, caregivers, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into the child’s overall learning plan and provide guidance to families on home-based activities that reinforce therapy. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, participating in team meetings, and ensuring that all practices align with ethical and professional standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech assessment for children.
Candidates should possess expertise in managing Communication Disorders and Language Disorders.
Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in working with Dysphagia in pediatric populations.
Relevant degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, with appropriate professional licensure or certification.
Experience working with children in clinical, school, or center-based settings and familiarity with developmental milestones.
Strong observational, documentation, and case management skills, with the ability to create individualized therapy plans.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practices and continuous professional development in pediatric speech therapy.
