We are seeking an experienced and hands-on VP, Engineering Solutions Lead to drive the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native enterprise solutions. This role combines deep engineering expertise with solution design leadership, focusing on API-first architectures, microservices, cloud platforms, and AI-driven transformation initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong system design capabilities, extensive experience building distributed applications, and a proven track record delivering enterprise-scale cloud and AI solutions. They will be responsible for defining technical solutions, establishing engineering standards, and guiding teams through successful implementation while remaining close to the code and technology decisions.

Your Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and resilient enterprise platforms and digital products.
Define end-to-end solution architecture for complex business problems, ensuring alignment with enterprise technology standards and strategic objectives.
Drive system design decisions across distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architectures, API ecosystems, and cloud-native platforms.
Design and review REST APIs, service contracts, integration patterns, and data models to ensure scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging modern public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Lead cloud transformation and modernization initiatives, including application migration, containerization, Kubernetes adoption, and platform engineering practices.
Define AI solution architectures, including LLM integration, AI orchestration frameworks, RAG-based solutions, intelligent automation, and AI governance considerations.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product managers, architects, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Provide technical leadership throughout the software lifecycle, from architecture and design through deployment and operational support.
Establish architecture best practices for security, observability, reliability, scalability, and cost optimization.
Mentor engineering teams on modern architectural patterns, cloud engineering, system design, and AI adoption.
Your Skills And Experience
12+ years of software engineering experience with strong expertise in designing and delivering large-scale enterprise applications.
Proven experience in solution architecture, system design, and building scalable distributed systems.
Deep understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven systems, API-first design, and integration patterns.
Strong experience designing and governing RESTful APIs for high-volume enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including cloud-native architecture and deployment models.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
Experience designing highly available, fault-tolerant, and performance-optimized systems.
Practical experience implementing AI and Generative AI solutions, including LLM integrations, RAG architectures, AI APIs, and intelligent automation use cases.
Strong understanding of data architecture, security, governance, and compliance considerations within cloud and AI ecosystems.
Proficiency in Java and/or Python with the ability to engage in technical design reviews and guide engineering teams.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence technical strategy across multiple teams.
Experience in financial services, asset management, or regulated enterprise environments is highly desirable.
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
