Role Description The Draughtsman is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. The individual in this position prepares detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and layout plans for façade systems using CAD or similar drafting tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include interpreting architectural and structural drawings, coordinating with engineers and project teams, updating drawings based on design changes, and ensuring that all documentation aligns with project standards and codes. The role also involves maintaining drawing records, supporting design reviews, and contributing to the resolution of technical issues during the design and installation phases. Collaboration, attention to detail, and adherence to deadlines are essential aspects of the position.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in CAD drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and ability to produce precise technical drawings.
Solid understanding of façade systems, basic structural concepts, and architectural drawing interpretation.
Ability to read and translate technical specifications, construction details, and design instructions into clear drawings.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with engineers, designers, and site teams.
Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple drawing revisions and deadlines.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience in façade drafting or building envelope projects is an advantage.
