Own the end-to-end accounting and finance function, with a focus on statutory compliance, audit readiness, and preparing the company for IPO. You will manage daily bookkeeping through year-end closing — GST, TDS, payroll, audits, and international remittances — working closely with management, external CAs, and auditors. This is a hands-on role for someone strong in Tally, thorough with compliance, and comfortable using AI tools to work faster.

Key responsibilities
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Journal, sales, and purchase entries in Tally
Cash and petty cash transactions
Bank statement and account reconciliations
Debtors outstanding tracking, payment follow-up, and vendor payments
Identify and rectify anomalies or inconsistencies in financial records
Financial Reporting
Prepare and finalise balance sheet, P&L, and year-end accounts
Monthly/quarterly MIS and budget forecasts
Drive IPO readiness — controls, reporting standards, documentation
GST
End-to-end compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C
GST calculation, E-Invoicing, IRN generation, QR codes, E-Way Bills
Accurate HSN/SAC classification, tax rates, and RCM applicability
TDS / TCS
Calculate, deduct, and deposit monthly TDS/TCS within statutory deadlines
Validate PAN status; apply Sections 206AA/206AB correctly
File quarterly e-TDS returns; issue Form 16/16A via TRACES
Resolve defaults, demand notices, and justification reports
Reconcile TDS/TCS ledgers with Form 26AS, AIS, and TIS
Payroll & Statutory
Salary and payroll processing, EPF, ESI
Employee expense management
ROC and other statutory filings
Audit & Advisory
Coordinate with external CAs and statutory auditors; lead internal audits
Identify tax-saving opportunities and applicable tax benefits
Manage international remittances and forex transactions (FEMA/RBI compliance)
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
High proficiency in Tally and related accounting tools
Strong hands-on knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance
Experience with audits and balance sheet finalisation
Exposure to international remittances and trade finance
Good AI knowledge; working familiarity with ChatGPT/Claude is a plus
B.Com/M.Com; CA Inter or MBA (Finance) preferred
