Role Description The Medical Officer role at Doctors Pharma is a part-time, remote position focused on providing clinical and medical expertise to support pharmaceutical products and related activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing medical information and clinical data, advising on product safety and efficacy, and supporting the development of medical content for internal and external use. The Medical Officer collaborates with cross-functional teams, including regulatory affairs, quality assurance, and marketing, to ensure medical accuracy and compliance with relevant guidelines. Additional tasks may involve offering guidance on patient care considerations, contributing to training materials for staff and partners, and participating in virtual meetings with healthcare professionals and stakeholders. The role requires consistent documentation, adherence to ethical standards, and effective communication in a remote working environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Medicine, with the ability to interpret clinical data and apply evidence-based medical judgment.
Experience in Patient Care, including understanding of treatment pathways, safety considerations, and patient outcomes.
Background in Training, such as developing or delivering educational materials for healthcare professionals or internal teams.
Exposure to Surgery and surgical practices beneficial for reviewing products or information related to operative care.
Demonstrated ability in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
Relevant medical degree (e.g., MD, MBBS or equivalent) and appropriate licensure or certification, where applicable.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards, regulatory requirements, and medical ethics is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an asset.
Comfort with remote work technologies, time management, and maintaining confidentiality and data security.
