Role Description The Data Privacy Analyst intern will support the development and review of privacy policies, guidelines, and educational materials for Privacyplex’s programs. On a day-to-day basis, this role involves researching global and regional privacy regulations, analyzing emerging privacy issues, and summarizing findings into clear, actionable insights. The intern will assist in monitoring privacy compliance trends, preparing documentation, and collaborating with team members to refine content and tools that help users better manage their data. This is a remote internship role, providing flexibility to work from any location while contributing to Privacyplex’s mission.
Qualifications
Strong understanding or interest in privacy regulations and privacy compliance frameworks
Ability to analyze privacy issues and interpret their impact on users and organizations
Skill in drafting, reviewing, and improving privacy policies and related documentation
Solid analytical and critical-thinking skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics simply
Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with a distributed team
Coursework or experience in law, data protection, information security, public policy, or a related field is beneficial
Familiarity with major data protection frameworks (such as GDPR, CCPA, or similar) is a plus
