Role Description The Data Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s data architecture to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting needs. This full-time, on-site role is based in Coimbatore and involves working closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements, define data standards, and ensure data quality and consistency across systems. Day-to-day tasks include developing data models, overseeing ETL workflows, optimizing data warehousing solutions, and enforcing data governance policies. The Data Architect will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to ensure that data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals. The role also includes documenting data frameworks, monitoring performance, and recommending improvements to existing data infrastructure.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Data Architecture and Data Modeling skills to design robust, scalable data structures and integrate data across multiple systems.
Candidates should possess experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and Data Warehousing to build and optimize data pipelines and storage solutions.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Data Governance practices to define data standards, ensure data quality, and support compliance and security requirements.
Candidates should possess proficiency in SQL and at least one major database or cloud data platform (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field; relevant certifications in data architecture or cloud platforms are an advantage.
Experience in designing enterprise-scale data solutions, performance tuning, and documentation of data standards and procedures will be beneficial.
