Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diploma Speech Therapist role based in Delhi, India. The Speech Therapist will conduct assessments to identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties, and develop individualized treatment plans. Daily responsibilities include providing one-on-one and small group therapy sessions, documenting progress notes, and updating care plans in consultation with senior clinicians. The role involves educating families and caregivers on home-based strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams when required, and participating in regular case discussions and clinical meetings. The therapist is expected to maintain ethical standards, adhere to organizational protocols, and contribute to a supportive, client-centered environment.
Qualifications
Strong core skills in Speech Therapy, including the ability to assess and treat diverse Speech and Communication Disorders.
Competence in managing Language Disorders and planning individualized language intervention programs.
Knowledge and practical experience in working with Dysphagia, including safe swallowing strategies and rehabilitation plans.
Diploma in Speech Therapy or equivalent recognized qualification; registration with relevant professional or regulatory bodies where applicable.
Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, prepare reports, and communicate findings clearly to clients and families.
Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills for working with children, adults, and older individuals from varied backgrounds.
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development, follow evidence-based practices, and participate in training and supervision.
Basic computer literacy for managing records, scheduling, and reporting; proficiency in English and local languages is an advantage.
