Role Description The Panel Saw Cutting Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves operating panel saws to cut boards and panels according to specified measurements, layouts, and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and adjusting machines, loading and positioning material, performing test cuts to verify accuracy, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. The operator will check drawings or cutting lists, measure and mark materials, inspect finished cuts for quality, and coordinate with the production team to ensure timely workflow. The role also includes basic equipment maintenance, adherence to safety procedures, and proper handling of materials and tools throughout the shift.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in machine operation and safe use of production equipment.
Candidates should possess skills in handling hand tools and general workshop tools.
Candidates should possess skills in operating saws, including panel saws and band saws.
Candidates should possess skills in material handling, including basic forklift operation or similar equipment (training can be provided).
Ability to read and interpret measurements, drawings, and cutting lists with high accuracy.
Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and adherence to PPE and safety protocols.
Previous experience in woodworking, furniture manufacturing, or interior fabrication is preferred.
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift and move panels, and work in a workshop environment.
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions and production schedules.
