Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer role is based at ECS Fin Inc. in Trivandrum. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases to validate the functionality, performance, and stability of IMS Solutions and related products. Responsibilities include performing manual testing across different environments, documenting defects, collaborating with development and product teams to resolve issues, and ensuring that releases meet established quality standards. The role involves reviewing requirements and specifications for testability, maintaining test documentation, participating in regression and integration testing cycles, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Testing and Quality Assurance skills, with a clear understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
Candidates should possess hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Test Execution across multiple platforms and environments.
Candidates should possess the ability to design, document, and maintain comprehensive Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
Candidates should possess skills in identifying, tracking, and reporting defects using test management and issue-tracking tools.
Relevant skills such as familiarity with SDLC and STLC, basic understanding of automation concepts, and experience with API or integration testing are beneficial.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills are required.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt in a fast-paced, product-centric environment is essential.
