Vetri Industrials is seeking a skilled Supervisor to oversee shop-floor operations across our Yizumi injection moulding infrastructure—specifically managing the Yizumi 120 (1,200 kN clamping force) and Yizumi 200 (2,000 kN clamping force) machines. You will be responsible for optimizing processing parameters, minimizing downtime, managing shift operations, and maintaining strict quality standards for molded components.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily production schedules to achieve output targets on machines.
Optimize process parameters (injection pressure, speeds, temperatures, and cycle times) to ensure high shot repeatability and material efficiency.
Coordinate rapid mold changeovers utilizing shop-floor material handling systems and overhead chain hoists.
Perform root-cause troubleshooting for common polymer processing defects (such as flash, sink marks, or short shots) and implement corrective actions.
Monitor auxiliary support equipment, including the cooling system for thermal stability and the air compressor unit for pneumatic operations.
Allocate shift manpower effectively and enforce plant safety protocols.
Maintain daily operational logs, tracking machine utilization rates and output KPIs.
Required Skills & Competencies
3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in plastic injection moulding production.
Strong working knowledge of Yizumi or equivalent hydraulic/servo-driven injection molding machinery.
Proven ability in mold setting, parameter tuning, and defect reduction.
Solid understanding of quality inspection standards and shop-floor coordination.
Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
