Summary:
In the role of a Packaged or Software as a Service Application Engineer, a typical day involves configuring and supporting packaged or cloud-based applications to tailor features according to evolving business requirements. The role includes managing software releases and ensuring the overall stability and performance of the systems. The engineer works with various tools, application programming interfaces, and low-code platforms to deliver solutions that align with organizational goals while maintaining compatibility across different environments. Collaboration with multiple stakeholders to address challenges and optimize application functionality is a key aspect of daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HCM On Premise ABAP.
Experience in developing and customizing SAP Human Capital Management modules using ABAP programming language.
Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and integration techniques.
Ability to work with APIs and low-code platforms to extend application capabilities.
Familiarity with software release management and version control processes.
Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex system issues to maintain application stability.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HCM On Premise ABAP.
This position is based at our BDC6F - SEZ location.
A 15 years full time education is required.
