Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester, Manual)
Project Role Description : Ensure solution quality by executing manual tests against defined requirements, user stories, and expected behavior. Design test cases, identify and document defects, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure reliable, user-ready releases.

Good to have skills : Automated Testing

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer focusing on manual testing, your day involves ensuring the quality of solutions by carefully executing tests aligned with defined requirements and user stories. You design detailed test cases, meticulously identify and document any discrepancies or defects, and work closely with delivery teams to support the release of dependable and user-ready software. Your role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the product through thorough validation and collaboration, contributing to a seamless user experience and successful project outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, defects, and test results to support transparency and traceability.
Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Functional Testing.
Good To Have Skills: Automated Testing.
Strong analytical skills to interpret requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
Experience in defect tracking and management tools to ensure clear communication of issues.
Ability to work collaboratively within agile teams and adapt to changing project needs.
Attention to detail to identify subtle issues that could impact user experience.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Microsoft Functional Testing.
This position is based at our BDC14A - STPI location.
A 15 years full time education is required.
