Role Description The Image Editor role is a full-time remote position focused on producing high-quality images for ecommerce and digital channels. Day-to-day tasks include performing detailed photo retouching, color correction, background cleanup, and image enhancement to meet brand and client guidelines. The Image Editor will prepare and optimize images for online storefronts and marketing materials, ensuring consistency in style, format, and resolution. The role involves working closely with team members to interpret editing instructions, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards across large volumes of images. The position also requires following established workflows, naming conventions, and file management practices to support efficient project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong photo retouching and image editing skills, including color correction and background cleanup.
Familiarity with photography fundamentals and visual composition.
Experience working with graphics and visual assets for digital platforms.
Understanding of ecommerce image requirements, including catalog, product, and marketplace standards.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or equivalent).
High attention to detail, ability to follow style guides, and maintain consistency across large batches of images.
Strong time management skills and ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
Prior experience in image post-production, ecommerce, or digital content production is preferred.
