Project Role : Quality Engineering Lead
Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead oversees the execution of testing processes, monitors key performance indicators, and ensures effective resolution of defects, fostering collaboration across teams to achieve seamless quality assurance outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align quality objectives with business goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Playwright.
Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools related to Playwright.
Experience in designing and implementing end-to-end testing strategies.
Ability to analyze and interpret test results to identify issues and recommend solutions.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Playwright.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15 years full time education is required.
