Role Description This part-time Crochet Artist role is a hybrid position based in Gurugram, with some tasks suitable for work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and creating crochet products according to brand guidelines and custom client requests, maintaining consistency in stitch quality, sizing, and finishing. The role involves following and adapting patterns, selecting appropriate yarns and colors, and meeting production timelines for small collections and individual orders. The Crochet Artist will assist in preparing items for photography, packaging, and occasional in-person events or markets, while maintaining accurate records of completed pieces. Collaboration with the team to develop new designs, incorporate feedback, and improve product lines is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
Strong crochet skills, including experience with various stitches, patterns, and finishing techniques.
Ability to read, follow, and modify crochet patterns; aptitude for creating simple designs from concept to final piece.
Attention to detail in craftsmanship, color coordination, and overall product quality.
Time management skills to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent output in a part-time schedule.
Comfort with a hybrid work arrangement in Gurugram, including occasional studio visits, events, and in-person collaboration.
Basic understanding of handmade product presentation, packaging, and care instructions for customers.
Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and contribute ideas to new collections and product improvements.
Prior experience in fiber arts, handmade crafts, or artisan markets is beneficial but not mandatory.
