Role Description The Credit Control Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad. This position is responsible for overseeing customer credit limits, monitoring outstanding receivables, and ensuring timely debt collection to maintain healthy cash flow. The role involves assessing creditworthiness, approving or recommending credit terms, and continuously reviewing customer accounts to minimize credit risk. The Credit Control Manager will collaborate with sales, finance, and operations teams to resolve payment issues, negotiate settlement plans, and implement credit control policies. The role also includes preparing regular credit and aging reports, analyzing trends, and recommending process improvements to strengthen overall financial control.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Credit Control and Credit Management to set limits, enforce policies, and manage exposure.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess credit risk, interpret financial data, and support decision-making.
Candidates should possess practical experience in Debt Collection to manage follow-ups, negotiate payment terms, and reduce overdue accounts.
Candidates should possess a sound understanding of Finance to align credit practices with company financial objectives.
Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications in credit or finance are an advantage.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/accounting systems, and prior experience in manufacturing or agrochemicals are beneficial.
