Role Description The Healthcare Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day clinical and administrative operations at Dr. Nishita’s Clinic in Hyderabad. This full-time, on-site role includes managing patient flow, coordinating appointment scheduling, and ensuring a smooth, efficient experience from check-in to follow-up. The role involves supervising front-desk and support staff, monitoring adherence to clinical protocols, and implementing operational processes that align with quality, safety, and customer service standards. The Healthcare Operations Manager will track key operational metrics, manage inventory and vendor relationships, and support compliance with relevant healthcare regulations and documentation requirements. This role also collaborates with the clinical leadership to optimize workflows, support new services or technologies, and enhance patient satisfaction through continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong healthcare operations and clinic management skills, including staff coordination, workflow optimization, and patient experience management.
Demonstrated ability in administrative management such as appointment scheduling oversight, record-keeping, inventory control, and vendor coordination.
Knowledge of healthcare quality and safety standards, regulatory compliance, and basic clinical protocol support within an outpatient or specialty clinic setting.
Proficiency in using clinic management software or EMR/EHR systems, along with solid MS Office and general digital literacy skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution abilities to work effectively with patients, clinical teams, and support staff.
Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, hospital management, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or specialized certification in healthcare management is an advantage.
Prior experience in managing operations in a clinic, hospital, or healthcare setting; experience in dermatology, aesthetics, or similar specialties is preferred.
