Role Description The Plant Head is responsible for overseeing end-to-end plant operations and ensuring that production targets are met safely, on time, and within budget. This full-time, on-site role is based in Tiruppur and involves managing daily production activities, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing policies that support efficiency and quality. Key tasks include supervising production planning and scheduling, monitoring quality control processes, optimizing resource utilization, and enforcing safety and compliance standards. The Plant Head will also lead and develop plant staff, drive process improvements, and collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives and cost optimization. Regular reporting on production performance, downtime, and operational issues is expected.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Plant Operations and Production Management to oversee daily plant activities and drive operational efficiency.
Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Budgeting to manage schedules, resources, and cost controls effectively.
Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to ensure adherence to product standards and continuous improvement in processes.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant leadership role, preferably in a similar sector.
Ability to lead diverse teams, resolve operational issues, and communicate clearly with management and staff.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in using production and reporting tools.
Understanding of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices for plant operations.
Relevant technical or engineering degree, or equivalent professional experience in plant or production management.
