Role Description This full-time Senior Branch Head role is based in Bengaluru in a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site leadership with flexibility for some work from home. The Senior Branch Head will oversee branch operations, drive sales performance, and ensure achievement of business targets while maintaining high standards of customer service. Responsibilities include managing and mentoring the branch team, developing local business plans, and implementing company strategies to grow the life insurance portfolio. The role involves building and nurturing relationships with customers, partners, and intermediaries, monitoring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and analyzing branch performance data to make informed decisions. The Senior Branch Head will collaborate with regional leadership on reporting, process improvements, and initiatives that strengthen brand presence and customer satisfaction in the Bengaluru market.
Qualifications
Strong leadership and people management skills, including team mentoring, performance management, and the ability to foster an inclusive, goal-oriented culture.
Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in life insurance or financial services, with a track record of meeting or exceeding branch-level targets.
Excellent customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities, with strong negotiation and interpersonal communication skills.
Solid understanding of insurance products, regulatory requirements, and branch operations, including risk management and compliance practices.
Analytical and organizational skills to interpret data, plan resources, and execute branch strategies effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications in insurance or finance are an advantage.
Comfort with hybrid working models, proficiency in common office and CRM software, and the ability to collaborate across teams and locations.
Prior experience in a branch leadership or similar managerial role in Bengaluru or comparable markets will be beneficial.
