Role Description
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer Intern to join our remote engineering team.
In this role, you will work alongside experienced engineers to develop and improve our educational web platform. You'll contribute to both frontend and backend development while learning modern software engineering practices and AI-assisted development workflows.
Responsibilities
* Build and improve frontend features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, and Next.js.
* Develop backend functionality, APIs, and database integrations.
* Use AI coding tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) to accelerate development while maintaining high code quality.
* Debug, test, and resolve software issues.
* Participate in code reviews and engineering discussions.
* Collaborate with product and design teams to improve user experience.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
* Learn modern web development best practices and contribute to production software.
Qualifications
* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frontend development.
* Basic understanding of backend development, REST APIs, and databases.
* Familiarity with Git and software development workflows.
* Experience using AI tools for coding assistance is a plus.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
* Interest in education technology is preferred.
Compensation
* Compensation: USD $200 per month (paid monthly).
* This is a paid internship.
