Role Description The Junior Architect will support the project team in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings, and coordinating design details for commercial and residential projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with schematic design, design development, and construction documentation, as well as preparing 2D and 3D plans, elevations, and presentation materials. The role involves collaborating with senior architects, consultants, and contractors, participating in site visits, and helping ensure that designs align with sustainability goals, building codes, and client requirements. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Borivali, requiring consistent presence in the office for team coordination and project reviews. The Junior Architect will also contribute to project administration tasks, such as documentation, meeting minutes, and basic coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to contribute to concept development, spatial planning, and detailed drawings.
Knowledge of software tools relevant to architectural practice (e.g., CAD, SketchUp, D5 Render, Photoshop & other visualization tools) and basic understanding of Integration between design software and project workflows.
Ability to support Project Management activities, including organizing project documentation, tracking tasks, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution and eligibility or progress toward professional licensure as per local regulations.
Solid understanding of building codes, materials, design principles, and construction processes.
Willingness to learn, take feedback constructively, and adapt to evolving project needs in a fast-paced studio setting.
