In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus
Proven experience in a similar role in a hotel is beneficial
Excellent communication, grooming, and interpersonal skills
Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
Friendly, professional, and guest-focused
Able to work flexible shifts
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
Deliver great guest service: Welcome guests warmly and provide friendly, professional, and efficient service throughout conferences, meetings, weddings, and special events.
Serve food and beverages: Serve food and drinks in a timely manner, following event requirements and service standards to ensure a positive guest experience.
Set up and maintain event spaces: Prepare banquet and meeting rooms according to event specifications, including table settings, buffet stations, and room layouts, and restore function spaces after events.
Handle guest enquiries: Respond to guest requests, questions, and concerns professionally to ensure a successful event experience.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards: Follow food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures to ensure event spaces and service areas remain clean, safe, and presentable.
Support successful event delivery: Monitor event requirements, replenish food and beverage items as needed, and ensure function rooms are fully prepared and maintained throughout service.
Work as part of a team: Collaborate with fellow Team Members and other hotel departments to deliver seamless events and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
