Role Description The Distribution Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Hosur. The role involves monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing distribution activities, including tracking stock movements, reviewing order fulfillment performance, and supporting route and warehouse efficiency. The Distribution Analyst will prepare regular reports and dashboards on key performance indicators, analyze trends, and recommend improvements to reduce costs, minimize stockouts, and enhance service levels. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with warehouse, logistics, sales, and finance teams, validating data accuracy, investigating discrepancies in inventory records, and assisting with forecasting and replenishment planning. The role also requires maintaining documentation, supporting compliance with company policies, and contributing to process improvement and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
Knowledge of distribution processes and inventory management, including order processing, stock control, and warehouse operations.
Experience tracking and reporting key performance indicators related to logistics, service levels, and operational efficiency.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting findings clearly.
Proficiency in spreadsheets and data analysis tools; familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems is an advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Prior experience in distribution, supply chain, or logistics analytics is beneficial.
