Role Description The Investor role at WeddingWithIndia is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The individual in this role will evaluate investment opportunities, collaborate with the founding team on financial planning, and help shape long-term growth strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing business performance metrics, analyzing market potential in the Indian wedding and tourism sectors, and providing guidance on capital allocation and risk management. The Investor will also participate in strategic meetings, advise on partnerships, and contribute to decisions that enhance profitability while preserving cultural integrity and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
Strong financial analysis and investment evaluation skills, including experience assessing business models and growth potential.
Knowledge of hospitality, tourism, or event management sectors, ideally with exposure to cultural or experiential businesses.
Ability to collaborate with founders and cross-functional teams, providing clear strategic input and constructive feedback.
Solid communication and negotiation skills, with the capacity to build relationships with partners and stakeholders.
Comfort working on-site in Jaipur and engaging directly with local vendors, venues, and operational teams.
Prior experience as an investor, venture capitalist, or strategic advisor is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are an advantage.
