Role Description The Junior Civil Engineer will support project planning, design, and execution for on-site civil works in Pune City. This is a full-time, on-site role that involves assisting senior engineers with preparing drawings, estimates, and material requirements, as well as interpreting designs and specifications at the project location. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring construction activities, checking measurements and levels, coordinating with site supervisors and contractors, and helping ensure adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role also includes maintaining project documentation, preparing basic reports, assisting in resolving technical issues on-site, and participating in site meetings as required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering fundamentals, including Civil Engineering Design and practical application of Civil Engineering principles.
Candidates should possess skills related to Civil Engineers’ responsibilities, such as understanding construction methodologies and supporting structural and infrastructure projects.
Candidates should possess skills in Planning, including basic project scheduling, resource coordination, and site activity planning.
Candidates should possess skills in Stormwater Management, including awareness of drainage design, runoff control, and related standards.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design tools is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail, numerical aptitude, and basic knowledge of construction materials and codes.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to follow instructions and work safely on active construction sites.
Willingness to work on-site in Pune City and adapt to field conditions; prior internship or site experience is beneficial.
