Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Food Technologist role based in Baramati. The Food Technologist will be responsible for developing and optimizing food products, conducting trials, and supporting production teams in implementing standardized processes. Daily activities include running laboratory tests, performing sensory evaluations, monitoring quality parameters, documenting findings, and ensuring adherence to safety and regulatory guidelines. The role involves collaborating with R&D, quality, and operations teams to troubleshoot process issues, improve product consistency, and support scale-up from lab to plant. The Food Technologist will also prepare technical reports, maintain accurate records, and assist in training staff on quality and food safety practices.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Food Technology and applied food science, with the ability to translate technical knowledge into practical processing solutions.
Demonstrated Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation, analytical testing, and accurate documentation of results.
Experience in Sensory Evaluation, including designing panels, assessing product attributes, and using sensory data to guide product improvements.
Proficiency in Quality Control activities, such as monitoring critical parameters, implementing checks, and supporting compliance with food safety standards.
Exposure to Research and Development (R&D), including product formulation, process optimization, and trial planning.
Ability to work collaboratively in a plant environment, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Should Experience 1- 2 years in canned food , brine making , products like whole peeled tomatoes, jalapeños in brine ,ready to eat products.
