Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamnagar, responsible for managing and growing relationships with key customers. Day-to-day tasks include serving as the primary point of contact for client accounts, understanding customer requirements, coordinating with internal teams to deliver services, and monitoring contract performance and service quality. The person in this role will prepare proposals, track account activity, analyze usage and revenue trends, and identify opportunities for cross-selling or up-selling solutions. They will handle customer issues in a timely manner, maintain accurate records in CRM or similar systems, and support billing and collections in coordination with finance. The Account Manager will also participate in review meetings, contribute to forecasting and planning, and provide feedback to improve processes and offerings.
Qualifications
Strong client relationship management abilities, including stakeholder communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
Experience in account handling, sales support, or business development within energy, utilities, industrial services, or a related field.
Solid analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple accounts, track performance metrics, and prepare reports and presentations.
Proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM or account management software, with attention to data accuracy and documentation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site in Jamnagar, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and visit client locations as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
Demonstrated professionalism, ethical conduct, and a customer-focused mindset, with willingness to learn about energy sector trends and regulations.
