Role Description As an Admissions Counselor at The Freethinking School, you will guide prospective families through the admissions process and represent the school’s Montessori and experiential learning philosophy. This full-time, on-site role is based in Koramangala, Bengaluru and involves responding to inquiries via phone, email, and in person, and conducting campus tours. You will explain academic programs, admission criteria, and school policies clearly and accurately, while maintaining detailed records of leads, applications, and enrollments. The role includes coordinating with academic and administrative teams, supporting outreach events, and following up with prospective families to ensure a smooth and positive admissions experience.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Communication and Communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
Candidates should possess Customer Service and Sales skills to manage inquiries, build relationships, and support enrollment targets in a professional manner.
Candidates should possess Education-related skills and interest, with an understanding or appreciation of Montessori and experiential learning environments.
Candidates should ideally have prior experience in admissions, counseling, or front-office roles in educational institutions or customer-facing organizations.
Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and proficiency with common office software and CRM or admissions systems.
A bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, communications, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
Candidates should be able to work on-site in Koramangala, Bengaluru, adapt to a dynamic school environment, and uphold inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
