Leading Garments Manufacturing Company is hiring a Junior Merchandiser.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with buyers, production & factory for smooth order execution
Follow up on fabric, trims & accessories sourcing - Ensure on-time delivery
Prepare cost sheets, tech packs, order sheets & merchandising docs
Daily production tracking & maintain quality standards
Communicate with vendors, suppliers & buyers for updates & approvals
Assist Senior Merchandiser in sampling, costing & shipment documentation
Maintain records of orders, shipments & buyer communications in Excel
Factory visits for sample checking & production follow-up
Must Have
0-2 years in garment merchandising - Freshers with textile / apparel internship ok
Any Graduate - Diploma / Degree in Textile, Apparel, Fashion Tech / Designing preferred
Basic knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims & production process
Good in MS Excel, Word & email communication - English & Tamil must
Organized, detail-oriented & can work under tight deadlines
Preferred:* Export house / buying house / garment unit exposure, WFX / Fast React ERP knowledge. Candidates near Chetpet, Egmore, Kilpauk, Nungambakkam preferred.
