Job : Manufacturing Planning Consultant
Location : Remote
Type of Employment : Freelancing
Job Description :
10-15 years of experience in demand and supply planning overall, and specifically in demand planning – demand forecasting, demand management, commodity planning, demand analytics (accuracy, bias, etc.)
Prior consulting experience – strategy (preferred), process improvement (must), process harmonization, and technology enablement is required
Need to be hands-on and an individual contributor (i.e., able to get hands dirty)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to quickly identify pain point root causes, develop and validate hypotheses
Experienced in developing high-quality client deliverables – process documents (as-is, to-be, flows), power point presentations, analysis (cost/benefits, ROI, etc.)
Prior experience in a demand planner role (any industry) would be highly desirable
Experienced in advanced forecasting tools (Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis, etc.)
Knowledge of hand-off’s between demand planning and supply planning / manufacturing
Knowledge of S&OP / IBP process, specifically “Demand Review” cycle within S&OP
Process industry experience is preferred, but not mandatory
Experience with AI solutions in demand planning is preferred, but not mandatory
