Role Description The Director of Healthcare Process Excellence and Transformation is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading end-to-end transformation initiatives within healthcare operations. This role focuses on assessing current processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing data-driven, AI-enabled solutions that optimize efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance. The director will collaborate closely with operational leaders, technology teams, and client stakeholders to prioritize projects, define roadmaps, and oversee implementation of process enhancements. Daily responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, driving continuous improvement programs, facilitating training on new processes, and ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards. The role also involves mentoring cross-functional teams, supporting sales and solution design efforts for healthcare clients, and reporting on outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data, evaluate process performance, and drive evidence-based decision-making.
Proven experience in healthcare industry operations, with solid understanding of clinical and non-clinical workflows, compliance, and quality standards.
Demonstrated project management skills, including leading cross-functional teams, managing timelines and budgets, and delivering transformation programs at scale.
Experience in training and change management, with the ability to develop learning materials, conduct workshops, and support adoption of new processes.
Ability to contribute to solution design, proposals, and client presentations for healthcare transformation initiatives.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; advanced certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement are an advantage.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across global, diverse teams.
Comfort with AI, automation, and digital tools used in process excellence, and willingness to stay current with emerging healthcare technologies.
