Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Accountant role based in Coimbatore. The Financial Accountant will prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Responsibilities include maintaining general ledgers, managing daily accounting entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting budgeting, cash flow tracking, and financial planning activities. The role involves generating regular financial reports for management, monitoring loan-related transactions, and assisting in audits and regulatory filings. The Financial Accountant will collaborate with branch and operations teams to maintain accurate financial records, implement internal controls, and support decision-making with clear financial insights.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Finance and Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, evaluate performance, and support business decisions.
Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to prepare, review, and present accurate and compliant reports.
Candidates should possess proficiency in Accounting Software and related digital tools to manage ledgers, entries, and financial documentation efficiently.
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation basics, and regulatory compliance relevant to lending and financial services.
Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with operations, branch staff, and management teams.
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications in accounting or finance are an advantage.
Prior experience in financial services, lending, or banking is beneficial, particularly in roles involving loan accounting and branch-level finance.
