For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of transaction banking services including Trade Remittances , cash management and treasury services. As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as VP & Relationship Manager , Business Banking based at Chennai
Principal Responsibilities
Originate New to Bank accounts , manage and monitor a portfolio of SME customers by extending appropriate transaction banking facilities
Originate global payment solutions /Trade Processing/FX transactions from SME / Emerging Corporate clients, mainly from Digital First Companies, local IT/ITES firms and MNC subsidiaries. Onboard these clients with a solutions-based approach, developing unique solutions wherever required.
Meet or exceed the business target on annual portfolio revenue , asset book growth , with focus in PSL and EXIM client segments
Build Liquid Asset OR Cash / SBLC , backed Lending (credit assessment memo
Develop deep relationships with PE/VC funds and Incubators to provide cash and trade solutions to their investee companies. Extend these influencer relationships to renowned law firms & Chartered Accounts as well.
Manage relationships with existing clients and increase Current account balances, term deposits, Global payments /Trade/FX throughputs and maximize revenues from these services. Cross-sell other products of the bank like salary and wealth management to maximize share of wallet
Collaborate with the various Product Sales Managers and the Implementation teams across all Banking products to achieve these objectives.
Requirements
University degree in Banking, Business Management related discipline
Proven sales and marketing experience in commercial transaction banking in SME business preferred
Strong self-motivation, with the ability to work independently
Strong sales and customer orientation, with excellent analytical skill
Ability to communicate effectively and create connection with others
High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
Pro-Tip: Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
