Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Engineer role based in Chennai. The Engineer will participate in planning, designing, and executing engineering activities for assigned projects, ensuring that technical specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements are met. Day-to-day responsibilities may include preparing calculations and drawings, reviewing and updating project documentation, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and supporting project managers with status reports and technical input. The role involves troubleshooting engineering issues, assisting with inspections and audits, and contributing to continuous improvement in processes and standards. The Engineer will also support client interactions by providing clear technical explanations and contributing to timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in engineering principles and ability to apply them to practical, project-based work.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (such as CAD platforms, analysis software, or project management systems).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities in a project environment.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (such as Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Electrical, or related discipline).
Attention to detail and commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and support project deadlines, including occasional extended hours when required.
Prior experience in EPC, energy, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage but not mandatory for promising early-career candidates.
